Hi all.  I'm new to the ProAct charting software, and I have a pretty good grasp on everything except for why trades should only be made in the first 2 hours.  There has been more than once that I've seen a good trade setup (seemingly) during the off-limit times and it has gone the right direction.  Anyways, thanks in advance.

Great question and while you are absolutely correct that there are times that great trades setup and occur outside of the first 2 hours of the trading session, we at ProAct are trying to teach people the safest times to trade as well as the safest trades.  As traders mature they may very well understand that due to other market conditions such as news or world events that the trades may be safe in "off" hours and learn to take those as well.  I would always suggest that you take a "scout" as we call them or a small position to enter an "off hour" trade and then scale yourself into the trade as it matures.

Thanks for the information.  I'm now in the advanced classes where they actually said the exact same thing last week, especially during ranges before NFP.
